Your Diet and Super Food
Your diet and super food. A combination of natural foods high in antioxidants, like fruits and other anti aging foods, such as the dreaded vegetable has been shown to be the key to a long and healthy life. In short “We Are What We Eat”. Scientists have known for a long time that people whose diets are rich in fruits and vegetables have a lower incidence of heart disease, diabetes, dementia, stroke and certain types of cancer , the very diseases that are associated with free radical damage.

Most of the antioxidants and nutrients that the body needs to function are in fruits and vegetables. Dozens of fruits and vegetables contain antioxidants  and your diet should include super foods. Individual super foods are the ones high in antioxidants and other anti aging nutrients.

I recommend that you eat as many servings of fruit and vegetables as you can per day, at least the daily recommended amount but more is preferable. If you are really interested in getting ahead of the disease curve you should consider becoming a vegetarian or like me a near vegetarian.

However, only 11% of us are eating fruits and vegetables even close to the proper amounts. Surprise! The Center for Disease Control recognizes this and states” we recommend supplementation for those people who cannot or do not eat enough plant-based food”

For those people that need a complete supplement we offer Super Food Plus. This  formula is a complete nutrition complex. It combines over 90 ingredients from nature’s most important and powerful phytonutrients and combines them with fiber, protein, vitamins and minerals. The formula also provides Chinese traditional herbs, super greens, vegetables, antioxidants, sprouts and more. The complete combination provides the all important nutrients to increase energy, enhance immunity and detoxify the body. This leads to an increased feeling of well being and optimal health. This complex is jam packed with super food nutrition and I take it every day. And let me tell you it has done wonders.

We also offer a Super Fruit Energy Drink called super berry which is an antioxidant energy drink. It contains over 8000 ORAC ranking for each serving. People with poor circulation, heart disease, cancer or arthritis should strongly consider changing their diet to more fruits and vegetables ( read raw) to help increase their cardiovascular health. All studies show that a diet rich in fruits and vegetables will go along ways in improving and preventing heart disease, cancer and stoke to name just a few.  Also it is an established fact that vegetarians and near vegetarins live longer and overall healthier.

You may order the book by itself or in conjunction with the Eating DVD. The DVD is the information found on the Public Television shows with the same name.
