Heart Disease risk plunged
72% in men and women who ate more than five fruit and vegetables per day,
compared with those who ate less than one a day. Eating lots of fruits as

multivitamins had a 20% lower risk of heart attacks, and women had a 35%

multivitamins containing folic acid cut the risk of colon cancer by 50% in
women with a family history of the disease.
