My Chelation Blog and Personal Updates

October 2008. The traditional Halloween season is upon us and the flu shot business is picking up. Not only that a majority of flu vaccine contains mercury, aluminum and formaldehyde. Read Mercury and Flu Shots

September 2008. New study shows that the right kind of exercise program will improve heart health as well as circulatory problems. Combining aerobic and resistance training gives

August 2008 Here is a life saving testimonial I recently read in Dr. Robert J. Rowan, M.D.'s newsletter. "Fourteen years ago, two highly respected doctors said to me "If your still alive in the morning, we want to do a quadruple bypass." "I refused the surgery. Instead, I started a series of 40 chelation treatments, the results were fantastic!" "Today at age 68, my health is better than average with sex life normal, thought you would like to know"  V.M. Denver, Colorado

July 2008 Update Our recommendation has been to take the capsules sublingually. However, this can be a pain in the #$^&%. Therefore I have been taking my recent round of Oral EDTA in the liquid form. I take the capsules apart and dump them into a glass of water. The I stir for about a minute and the EDTA dissolves completely. Drink it down. There is no taste as far as I can tell in about 6 ounces of water.

L-Arginine For Increased Circulation

There has been a vast amount of research that shows that L-Arginine is the best source of creating NO (Nitric Oxide) in the body. Columbia University Medical School calls L-Arginine the magic bullet of the cardiovascular system. It helps increase circulation. In the body, L-arginine is used to make nitric oxide, which reduces blood vessel stiffness, increases blood flow, and improves blood vessel function. There is also volumes of research that show it lowers blood pressure.

2008 June Update   Juice Prevents Clogged Arteries In a recently published study by the University of Montpellier a research team found that four glasses of grape juice a day can prevent your arteries from clogging.

2008 May Update  It is now May and I am taking 3 capsules a day as my maintenance dose. In that way I figure I absorb about 1 gram per day using my sublingual/liquid method I recommend to my readers. Also I have increased my normal 1 to 2 caps a day of my multi vitamins to 4 caps per day to see if I can increase my energy levels.

Thank you for all the emails and phone calls with your questions and challenges. If any of you have stories where EDTA has improved your life please send them along and I will publish them here. I know it helps to show how people have improved their own health especially when friends and some doctors are telling you EDTA does not work or is dangerous. It is always a large shock to hear that so many people have occluded (plugged up) arteries or veins and are living with this fear hanging over their head without attempting to improve their own health. Look anywhere on the web and you will find no proof of harm from EDTA. It is of course up to you but you have very little to lose and so, so much to gain.

2008 Update I have been taking approximately 4 capsules a day since about February 1st. I do not have any bothersome symptoms but every time I see the pollution in the air on the front range of Colorado I wonder how many metal and other toxins are in what I breathe.  This year the plan is to take three or four regimens. The amount will be determined by how I feel. Three regimens a year should fairly well keep my circulation in good shape. Stay tuned I will let you know.

My Chelation Story Update October 2007
I began taking oral chelation again in August of 2007. I did this for two reasons. One I take oral chelation as a regular regimen to help keep my vessels clear. Two I was experiencing a symptom that only seems to affect me. I have never talked to anyone that has had this same symptom. This symptom has showed up before and when I take chelation therapy either IV or oral it goes away.

The symptom is a slight burning sensation in the groin about were the major artery and veins moves from the upper thigh into the stomach cavity.

I started taking my usual eight capsules a day by my sublingual method. However, recently I have had to cut back to 4 a day. The eight caps a day have been throwing my digestive system slightly out of whack and causing some diarrhea. Here is my Oral Chelation Supplement

I have been taking the four caps a day now for about 6 weeks and I have about three days remaining. All of the symptoms I had been experiencing are now gone.  The symptoms disappeared in about two weeks.

Another regimen I have added is two teaspoons of apple cider vinegar a day. I have known about the effects of apple cider vinegar for years but just kept forgetting to take it. The apple cider vinegar really helps to curb my appetite and it reduces carbo cravings to almost zero. Further, it has definitely helped my prostate problems as well.

This leads me to the last comment. Taking apple cider vinegar helps me increase my water consumption which is really important to middle age people and up. I have been reading much information that states that dehydration can be the cause of many of our illness.

This information was added on October 30th 2007.

My Personal Update Posted 02/13/07  Today I discovered a closed but fresh small wound on the outside toe area of my right foot. Just a few years ago this would have thrown me into a fearful tizzy. The area of the wound is where the little toe was located on my right foot. I lost the toe due to an ulcerated area years and years ago. The closed wound evidently was caused by some walking I did in my hiking boots this weekend at Winter Park Ski area. I went there with my grandson, daughter and son-in-law. I just watched I do not ski anymore. This wound would probably have flared up and become infected if I did not take a rest off my feet. Not anymore. With chelation it is no longer a problem and I go about my business as usual. I will wear a small pad for a few days until the scab area becomes firmer and at the same time figure out why my boots are rubbing. It is a great feeling to know that this is not going to turn into a disaster. Ask anyone with real bad circulation caused by diabetes or vascular disease and they will tell you. foot wounds are the worst kind.

I apologize for the error in yesterdays post. I forgot to mention what the cheapest most effective lotion was. It is glycerin. At full strength a  6 oz. bottle cost about $1.99, on sale less. I use it full strength when my feet are really dry. After showering I use is diluted about 7 or 8 to one with water. If you have poor circulation especially if you have diabetes, you must keep your skin supple in order to avoid cracks which could lead to wound development.  It is not fancy and has no scent but it sure does work.

Day before yesterday my wife noticed that there was blood on the bathroom floor. After further investigation I found that my left big toe on the bottom had split open from dry cracked skin. This is another minor symptom of poor circulation and it is exacerbated by the climate of very dry air in Colorado. Just a few short years ago this to would have thrown me into a state of worry about open wounds and infection. I am extremely happy to say this is no longer the case. Chelation has done it again for me. The cracked skin after being treated with the cheapest skin care lotion in the world is now completely gone just three days later. This has even improved since I started my own oral chelation regimen last fall. I have never had little cuts, scrapes and cracks heal so quickly. And that reminds me I have forgotten to take my chelation dose this morning. My goal is to return my circulation system to one of a thirty year old. Stay tuned for some chelation studies which I will be publishing soon.

Today was one of those days where you have to use aggressive will power to do those things which help improve your health. I have said it many places on this web site "if you have heart or circulatory problems and when taking chelation you must exercise. I can only walk in the mall so long before I just have to get outside. Well today was one of those days. The temperature was a pleasant 41 degrees with however the wind blowing at about 15 to 20mph. With the wind it wasn't to bad but coming back against the wind it was brutal. However, walking is one of the best exercises going and is especially good when you have brain, heart or leg circulatory problems. When taking chelation it really improves the circulation of the EDTA. There are therefore many reasons to walk and keep walking everyday. You have to get in the habit and use that old will power to get out there regardless of the weather. So if you have to you have to. I know you can do it. If I can anyone can, right? Get walking.

Personal Update 02/07 One of the things I just discovered that for whatever reason I have not noticed until now. Located in what used to be my little toe area of my right foot is the remnants of the bone structure of my little toe. In the last post below it was this bone point that was injured. What I failed to notice until now is that bone point used to be very painful for at least two years before I started on my new regimen. The area would have a gathering of what I think was dead skin cells. It would pile up in a tiny mound and give shoes and other objects somewhere to rub. This was a painful point. I used to keep it in check and the pain controlled somewhat by filing the dead skin off with a small file. It would still hurt and on occasion when awakening be very painful with sharp pains. I don't know how I missed it but the pain has no ceased entirely and is no longer painful at all even when poked. Another victory for oral chelation.
